Everhart is the only artist with full creative rights to the "Peanuts" characters developed by Charles Schulz (1922 –2000). In 1980 Tom graduated from the Yale School of Art & Architecture. He got a freelance job drawing renderings of Schulz's characters. Everhart began working with "Peanuts" imagery exclusively. In 1980, he was introduced to cartoonist Schulz at Schulz's California studio. His first show was at the famous Louvre in 1990. In 1991, Schulz & United Media, drafted a legal pact allowing Tom exclusive rights to use subject matter from Schulz's "Peanuts" strip in his art for "the term of his life". "Peanuts" is the most popular & influential strip in the history of the genre, and earned Schulz over $1 billion.

 

Bora Bora Bored with Snoopy, Woodstock

As the only artist in the world granted the rights to draw the "Peanuts" characters in his own work, Yale Grad Tom Everhart creates vibrant, extremely collectible rainbow masterpieces featuring Snoopy, Woodstock and the gang. "Bora Bora Boogie Bored" is a limited edition hand pulled original lithograph on museum quality deckle-edge paper, numbered and hand signed by Everhart. Includes certificate of authenticity. Measures approx. 35" x 28" (with border); 31" x 23" (image). “Bora Bora Boogie Board”  is a fine art lithograph printed at S2 Editions, Ltd. atelier Las Vegas, NV in 2003, each lithograph has been hand signed by the artist. Sun Dappled Greek Islands by France's Kerfily

Kerfily creates enticing images through bold palettes and captivating compositions. Born and raised in Normandy, he showed an early artistic talent demonstrating his ability to create compositions with a unique freshness. Pissarro: Walking Among the Rhododendrons

One serigraph available by famed artist Claude Pissarro. Hugues Claude Pissarro, father of lelia Pissaro, is the grandson of the Impressionist painter Camille Pissarro (at left) and son of Paulemile Pissarro. Born in Neuilly-sur-Seine and enveloped in an artistic environment, he spent his childhood and youth with art. Carrying on a family tradition established by Camille Pissarro, his father frequently took Hugues on painting excursions, accompanied by his numerous artist friends, and these proved formative for him. Impressionist Creations by Lelia Pissarro

Shown here are two original oils by famed artist Lelia Pissarro. Lelia has exhibited in many cities in France, as well as in Israel, Switzerland, New York, Boston, and London. Lelia has formed L'Atelier, a group of French artists who meet regularly to work together. For a short time, she also taught painting in Paris. Lelia Pissarro is the fourth generation of a family of artists. Her father is the artist H. Claude Pissarro and her grandfather was Paulemile Pissarro, the youngest son of the impressionist painter Camille Pissarro. Leila's early years were spent with her grandparents in Normandy and she exhibited her first painting at age 11 at La jeune peinture in Paris.

Serigraphs by Lelia (4th Generation) Pissarro

Besides the oil paintings, we have several Ltd edition and signed serigraphs by Lelia Pissarro. Lélia has painted since the age of 4, having been educated by her grandfather Paulémile and her father H. Claude Pissarro. From infancy until the age of 11 she was entrusted to the care of her grand-parents, Paulémile and his wife Yvonne, in Clécy, Suisse Normandy, where her interest in drawing and painting was nurtured by her grandfather who taught her the fundamental impressionist and post-impressionist techniques. When she returned to her parents in Paris at 11, the role of teacher was taken over by her father and she subsequently studied at l’Ecole des Beaux-Arts. Lélia moved to London in 1988 and her work has regularly been exhibited in galleries around the world, and following the tradition of her great-grandfather, grandfather and father, More info.

Renoux, Father of Paris School of Urban Realism

  André Renoux was born in Algeria, in 1939, and when he died in Paris in 2002, he was regarded as one of France's national treasures. Westport River Gallery has several limited edition serigraphs, including the two shown here. Click to see all available. The "father" of the Paris School of Urban Realism, the most credentialed Urban Realist (and one of the most respected in Europe), Renoux was known as the peintre-poete (painter-poet) for the beauty of his images. At home in many cities, he made Paris his own, capturing its sounds, smells, tastes, textures. Rue St. Victor (at right) is a dizzying view down the steps of Rue Utrillo, 12×10; At left is Le Bar de l'Artiste Assoiffé. "The bar of the thirsty artist." This cafe/bar remains a meeting place for art students of the Ecole des Beaux-Arts in the historic district of St. Germain des Pres. Ltd Viewing of Lelia Pissarro's Monet's House

Westport River Gallery has a premiere oil painting available from Lelia Pissarro, entitled Monet's House. It is 26x32, with a wood gold frame, located offsite and available for viewing for serious buyers only.  Lelia Pissarro's Impressionist works hail back to a time when great grandfather Camille Pissarro fathered the Impressionist movement. Lélia, born in Paris in 1963, is the daughter of H. Claude Pissaro and grand-daughter of Paulémile. As a child she lived in Normandy with her grandparents and was taught to draw and paint by her grandfather Paulemile Pissarro. Paulemile's godfather was Claude Monet. Main Street, Westport by Kathy Jakobsen

"Main Street, Westport, CT." Westport River Gallery has several signed numbered pieces by acclaimed, and internationally known Kathy Jakobsen. She is a folk artist, author and illustrator of books whose works are in the collections of The Museum of American Folk Art in New York City and the Smithsonian. Kathy Jakobsen is from the midwest, at some point lived in Weston, Connecticut. She paints highly detailed and brightly colored landscapes, many generously dotted with scurrying people. Only four left.
