LECOMTE, Nadine (French Canadian)

Nadine Lecomte was born in 1960 in Rennes, France. After studying visual art, she began focusing her interests on watercolor. She developed a unique technique, creating soft and colorful works featuring her native Brittany. Later, when she began painting in oil, vibrant images of Provence and Africa became the primary subjects of her work. Since 1993, she has exhibited her paintings predominantly in Brittany, Provence, Paris, China, New York and Westport, Connecticut. Her work is bold, brash and can easily dominate a room, office or study.
