Stanley Andrews comes to the Westport River Gallery in Connecticut, from England. He has been a member of the Royal Society of Marine Artists for many years. He has exhibited widely in the Midlands and South of England, including the Singer and Friedlander Watercolor Exhibition and the Royal Institute of Painters in Watercolor. He also teaches many classes in painting, influencing the next generation of English painters. He enjoys gardening, works by Monet and has been influenced by noted painter Edward Seago. "Watercolors and oils have freshness, sponteneity, atmosphere and a pleasing impression." His fluid style favors beach scenes, harbors, estuaries, towns and landscapes. His works include parks in Paris (top left), known scenes in Scotland, and even Venice.
