Dr. Caudron's paintings are based on a perfect match of the diverse structures of motifs - through skies forcefully crushed to grounds that offer surprising perspectives - and, while the artist is wandering on the chromatic scale with enthralling boldness, there is nothing he dares not do.Such balance in his works allows the eye to travel nowhere else than on the painted surface. The balance of the bold color palette juxtaposed with the seemingly surreal perspective allows one to be immersed within the work itself, eliminating the notion of the two-dimensional surface. The subjects of the works stand on their own, supported by the innovative use of an old master knife technique combined with a saturated use of color in its purest form. The works themselves appear to be effortless, despite the fact that the works were achieved thanks to extreme rigor. Caudron is a man of intensity; while his primary profession is as a diabetes physician, his interests have also guided him to the titles of pilot, sailor, glider, husband, and, expressionist-impressionist artist. His passions in part stem from a love of character homes, “out of proportion” rooms, and reading. Caudron was born in France in 1947 and has exhibited for two decades. While his art is primarily represented throughout the galleries of Europe. CLICK FOR OTHER IMAGES
