  • Westport River Gallery in Westport CT, is 30 minutes from NYC, located along the Saugatuck River at the junction of the Post Rd. (Rt 1) & Riverside Ave. (Rt 33). We are 2 easy miles from both the CT Turnpike (I-95) and the Merritt (Rte 15). Both intersect with Rt 33. Hours: Wed-Fri 11-2; Sat 11-4; Sun 11-3, or by appointment. Corinne Vilcaz is an artist with an imagination free of the constraints of modern classical form.  Her works are often comprised of vibrant colors contrasted against a heavy use of palette knife.  Instead of having a focus on the representation of actual shapes, Vilcaz emphasizes the importance of color in bringing forth the true form of art. Working in the Batch & Garonne region of France, Corinne Vilcaz takes her inspiration largely from her surroundings.
