  • Westport River Gallery in Westport CT, is 30 minutes from NYC, located along the Saugatuck River at the junction of the Post Rd. (Rt 1) & Riverside Ave. (Rt 33). We are 2 easy miles from both the CT Turnpike (I-95) and the Merritt (Rte 15). Both intersect with Rt 33. Hours: Wed-Fri 11-2; Sat 11-4; Sun 11-3, or by appointment. Dubord Delights with Colourful Beach Ambiance

The Benezit-listed French artist's work is collected worldwide. John-Pierre Dubord has an original approach to painting: his choice of palette colors is rich in its tones, fresh and uplifting; his canvases reveal an intense joy of life; and his love of the rhythms of nature are interpreted with nuances of color. Jean Pierre Dubord has mastered the art of imprisoning light on canvas. The delicate poetic strain in his paintings has been influenced by the Impressionists.
