We are 2 easy miles from both the CT Turnpike (I-95) and the Merritt (Rte 15). Both intersect with Rt 33. Hours: Wed-Fri 11-2; Sat 11-4; Sun 11-3, or by appointment. JEAN FRANCOIS BOURGEATNew picture from French Impressionist Jean Francois Bourgeat at Westport River Gallery. Born in Paris in 1962, Jean-Francois Bourgeat is a French landscape artist whose background is in art 'graphiques' immediately attracted him to the Impressionist school of painting. He tutored under the great French Landscape Artists, then took his easel to Nature. He paints on location and captures the changing light and reflections in the water along the Seine. His boats and landscapes typify the splendor of lie de France, du Bretagne, and d'Alsace in the south of France.
