Enjoy Bazooka Joe for that Retro Look

Bazooka Joe is one of the most famous advertising characters of 20th century. Comics are generally childish, with simple twists. No... There is nothing wrong with his right eye. He just wares an eye patch to be "more interesting". Bazooka is famous brand of bubble gum, by the Topps Company. Since it was marketed shortly after WWII, the Tops used colors that symbolize USA and patriotism, red, blue and white. Since 1953, Bazooka Bubble Gum included small comic. The comic and protagonist Bazooka Joe become instant hits. Bazooka Joe, 50 years later, still remains popular. Packages and comic remain the same, but the Topps Company over the years extended the flavors, adding to the original, Grape Rage, Watermelon Whirl. This is 30x30 and original art by D. Ricketson's Bison Family Lands in Westport

E. Ricketson is just at home painting adorable Cows, frolicking moose, and bear, as she is painting a ballerina, landscapes, or forest path. A grad of Providence College, she always had a love of literature and the fine arts. She also studied figure drawing at the Rhode Island School of Design, spending years dedicated to understanding human form, movement and anatomy. Painting and the exploration of color have become her passion. Exploring abstract expressionism has opened up a new way for her to develop her paintings and approach to all of her work. Marrying her abstract style with representational themes while describing the usual with unusual color choices has become the definition of her work. This is 36x48.
