Large works have arrived by Canadian Artist Olaf, who uses color, light, and brushwork to achieve visual harmony. In describing himself as well as other artists of "representational art," he writes: "Each dab is stimulated by the details that I observe; we see what others miss and then make it compelling. We proudly push and alter the colors to suit our ravenous needs. We improvise right on the spot." On the left you see a vibrant 20x40 glass-like painting "Taxi Reflections" that is available at the Westport River Gallery. The right is a 40x40 painting "Perpendicular Travels" by Olaf which is also available at the Westport River Gallery. See more.
