Several signed lithos are available by Zarou. The well known French artist was born in Gassin (1930), a small village near Saint-Tropez. His childhood was surrounded with French Art Culture. Following the footsteps of his father, he made his first exhibition (and sale) at age 12. His career started with numerous individual exhibitions throughout France, including Cannes, Nice & Lyon. He exhibited in famous art galleries in Geneva, and Stockholm. He has also made illustrations for books. In 1971, the city of Paris awarded Zarou the Silver Medal for his distinguished work, and in 1980 he was honored with the highest award "the Gold Medal of Honor." He is Commander of the French Artists society order. Since 1976, he has the privilege to appear in the two main paintings directories of well known world Artists, the "Benezit" and the "Mayer."
