Michel Ferran Original Landscapes & Florals

Shown at right is the newest original on the market by the late Michel Ferran, a French artist. The picture is 29x36. Born in 1943 close to Narbonne, Ferran, photographer and painter since childhood, decided in 1992 to open a workshop and consequently became a professional painter, primarily focusing on the landscapes of Provence. His painting evolved quickly to a purified stylization of the subjects and forms. Working the paste and the colors together, it carved its fabric of a pallet containing blue, ochres, yellows and reds, highlighting the light to create unique effects. His talent was noticed by collectors and publishers. His pictures were then collected across Europe, and the U.S. He passed away in 2003. At left is one additional original available,16x32
