Award winning artist HM Saffer has just sent the Westport River Gallery several new works, as you can see here. Both are 20x24 on board. In 1965, he went to Paris to take economics classes, but wound up becoming a musician with Hugues Aufray, Jacques Brel and Charles Aznavour. He was hired by Barclay Records as a producer and had several hits during the late 1960s During this time he also was chef/owner of two restaurants in Paris and later a third in Ibiza, Spain. However, all during this era he never stopped painting and exhibiting. He took classes at L’Ecole des Beaux Arts in Paris and had exhibits in Paris and Brussels before returning to the U.S. in 1970.
