Hae Suk Kim, born in Korea, is known for her vibrant, colorful seascapes, powerfully billowing skies, and subtle shades of blue and gray that gently entice the viewer into a picture of calm. She works on board, taking control of the images and colors, creating a scene that begs to be entered, savored and enjoyed. Her work is in a number of collections, and she has been involved in many exhibitions in New England. She has won several awards for her work, and has studied with Sidney Simon and Frank Mason.
