We are 2 easy miles from both the CT Turnpike (I-95) and the Merritt (Rte 15). Both intersect with Rt 33. Hours: Wed-Fri 11-2; Sat 11-4; Sun 11-3, or by appointment. Coming: Rothman's Otters & Jungle Life

Otters The graceful world of the sea otter (and other creatures, dinosaurs & jungle cover) takes center stage at the Westport River Gallery next month, as original works by Mike Rothman go on display. Rothman is a natural science illustrator who has joined four botanical expeditions to the neotropics and two in the Samoan archipelago. His work has been in major publications and also used for scientific purposes. The subject matter in his artwork stems principally from his interest in biology and reflects both his work for The New York Times Science section and his continued liaison and collaboration with the Institute of Systematic Botany at the New York Botanical Garden.
