New works (including the 16x20 shown here) are on the way from Chinese-American artist DNIE. He creates uses a colorful pallet of greens, blues, yellows and oranges that beautifully blend into a mix of classic impressionism with a strong dash of Fauvism.
He favors colorful pictures, where the viewer can see themselves along a steam, in a flowing field with gentle breezes. DNIE is a native of Shanghai, China. Click here for more new pictures.
French artist Pascal Dabere is the recipient of countless awards for his extraordinary talent, five Gold Medals from France and one from London for his oil paintings and Gold Medals for his work with pastels.
His honorable mentions are many and from all over the world. Dabere is in numerous private collections and exhibits continuously, in Holland, Belgium, Britain, Switzerland, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Malaysia and Canada.
Westport River Gallery now has an exclusive selection of 12 original works by Famous Impressionist Camille Pissarro and his sons, including Paulemile Pissarro, the youngest. One of his drawings is above. Prices for the works by the Pissarros are $400 (for serigraphs by Lelia Pissarro, Paulemile's grand daughter) to $25,000 for a 100-year-old work by Camille. Born in 1884, Paulemile was raised in the artistic environment of Eragny. His godfather was Claude Monet, who became his tutor and close friend, particularly when Camille died in 1903. He exhibited at the 'Salon des Independents' until 1908, when financial difficulties forced him to look for paid employment. He found work in Paris designing lace and embroidery. In the 1920's he met the artist kees Van Dongen, with whom he shared a studio, and Maurice Vlaminck. Together they would escape Paris and spend the summer months painting and traveling around the French countryside. Call us if interested in seeking more of the works.
