Mundy Hepburn, nephew of legendary Actress Katherine Hepburn, makes blown glass ranging from bowls to giant forms that are filled with rare gas mixtures such as helium, neon, argon, krypton, and xenon. The glass in the bowls is often mixed with substances for color. For example, the pink below comes from gold that has been blended into the molten glass
The bowls and vases are offered at an introductory price of $75 to $350, and come with a formal Certificate of Authenticity.
Each is signed by the artist, and have been blown, stretched, coaxed and pulled to make fabulous shapes and colors.
