COMMISSIONS: Many of our artists accept commissions, base non your interests.
ARTIST SUBMISSIONS: We consider the artists' credentials, experience, distinctions. Send us a CD with samples of your work, and your resume. Our sister firm can provide artists with simple websites.

Directions

Westport River Gallery is in Westport, Connecticut, 30 minutes from NYC, and located along the Saugatuck River. The gallery is at the junction of the Post Rd. (Rte 1) and Riverside Ave. (Rte 33). We are accessible from both the Conn. Turnpike (I-95) and the Merritt Parkway (Rte 15). Both intersect with Route 33. We are open Wed.- Fri. (11-4:30); Sat., 11-5; Sun. Mini French Art show 6-9 Sat @ Villa Gourmet; Music, Wine, Cheese; Tapas from Basque Bistro

A free exhibit of French art from the Westport River Gallery in Westport, is underway at the Villa Gourmet, 11 River St., Milford. Kickoff is 6-9 pm Saturday Sept. 17. The exhibit, which runs through December, includes art by internationally-rated French artists including Jean-Pierre Dubord, Dominique Dorie, Elisabeth Estivalet, Henri Lapetit, Corinne Vilcaz, Jacqueline Duvoisin, Kerfily and others. Located in downtown Milford, the Villa Gourmet is a specialty food store featuring French and other imported gourmet foods and cheeses.

Dec 4 Holiday Show Features Art & Music

Enjoy some wine, a lovely harpist playing traditional tunes to “Stairway to Heaven,” speak with American artists, and appreciate the new French and British art art by Dorie, Dubord, Kaprielian, Lecompte, Wilkinson (see pugs). One new set of works is also from a master floral artist from Germany (see 16x12 below). Artists Vitello, Zider, Brown, and Sage will be in attendance. Time 6-9 pm.

The Circus Exhibit Comes to Town

In the spirit of the political season, and in the area where master showman P.T. Barnum housed his world famous circus, the Westport River Gallery presented a unique Circus exhibit this weekend entitled "The Election is over; Let's get on with the Circus." The exhibit features more than two dozen original lithographs that date back to the mid 1900s from Ringling Brothers and other big tops. The original lithographs feature elephants and horses, to "curiosities," clowns and trapeze artists.
